DOUBLE BURDEN OF MALNUTRITION WORRIES YOUNG MOTHERS IN MUSAHAR VILLAGES OF UP

The double burden of malnutrition (DBM) the conjunction of undernutrition and overweight, obesity, and non-communicable diseases in the post-COVID period has been worrying the mothers in the Musahar villages of the Badagaon administrative block of Varanasi district. When the Central Government is planning for Front of Package Labelling (FOPL) regulations control the poorest of the children consuming ultra –processed with high salt, sugar and fat cheaper packets of noodles, chips, noodles etc.
